Telecom Updates Exclusive : No more VAS related compalints from TATA Docomo

TATA Docomo who had come up with many of the new initiatives in the past, has come up with yet another initiative to reduce VAS related complaints very effectively. The new initiative is called TPCG - Third Party Consent Gateway, which will take a second consent from the customers who have selected any VAS service so that the unauthorized activation of this services can be completely avoided.

This new development has come up post TRAIs intervention on the same, as the VAS related complaints from the customers of all operators have gone up in the past one year and operators are considering it as an easy revenue building platform. The charges collected from various VAS services are upfront revenue addition and the cost to provide the services are much lesser comapred to other services.
