The most famous so called Mithram Plan is now made available in 3G services also. The initial charges will be 112 rupees out of that the SIM cost would be Rs.59 and FRC of Rs.53.
There is no other change in tariff / plan features. For validity extension or migration to 3G mithram, customers can send SMS " PV49 " to 53733
All other terms and conditions would remain same as earlier Mithram Plan.

DeleteI did that. But am still in 2G. I contacted customer care. They are saying PV49 is for 2G and there is not 3g Mithram plan. Can you confirm ?
DeleteNormally it works. But in your case if it is not working try doing a recharge of Rs.52. You will get 1 year validity and 200 MB bundled usage.
