Micromax has today announced the launch of a yet another remarkable product that uses the natural light to get charged, the Micromax X259. Yes, the new Micromax X259 comes fitted with a Solar Panel at the back that automatically gets charged through solar power on exposure to sunlight. Micromax has priced this Solar Phone for just Rs. 2,499.
It would really help people who face frequent and long power cuts especially in the rural areas. More of its specs include 2.4” QVGA screen with a resolution of 240 X 320, Audio and Video Player, Bluetooth, VGA Camera, WAP, Radio FM, expandable Memory Upto 4 GB, Dual SIM, 1000 mAh battery and more.
As per the company, the Micromax X259 if solar charged for 3 hours can give talk time of upto 1.5 Hours.
