As per the MNP broadcast report for the month of April for Kerala, BSNL is the highest gainer in MNP, as they dominate 25% of Portin happed from other operators and their portout percentage is as low as 7% resulting the highest net customer gain of 18%. BSNL is getting portins from all major operators but the majority contributed by Idea cellular (40%) though idea is known as the most customer preferred brand in Kerala.
Idea is the highest customer loser in the month of April as 30% of total portout contributed by them and their portin percentage is only 21%. so their net customer gain is negative 9.
As per the customer base report published by TRAI, In Kerala Idea is No.1 on customer base followed by BSNL and Vodafone. But the customer base difference between Idea and BSNL is very marginal and anytime BSNL can overtake Idea on customer base. If this happens Idea will lose their No.1 position which they are holding for years.
