MTS has come up with GSM + CDMA dual phone to attract GSM customers

MTS India ltd, the one and only operator who is providing purely CDMA voice and data operations has come up with a new idea to impress the major chunk of GSM customers in India. The phone priced at Rs.1699 has got all major benefits including FM radio, MP4 support, 1.3 MP camera and 600 rupees voice and SMS benefits from MTS.

Also MTS is trying to make alliance with major handset makers purely setting a comments to other operators that they are here for a game, like they said in a press statement " we are purely in customer acquisition mode ". Their game strategy is very clear by launching a GSM+CDMA dual phone. It is nothing but to attract GMS users who doesn't want to lose their number but using this phone they can maintain their number and use MTS connection for outgoing purpose.

The call rates are also very competitive, so customers cannot miss this offers.
Very recently in Kerala MTS introduced MTS Striker C121 priced at Rs.799 was giving MTS to MTS calls at 10 paise per minute and other local calls at 10 paise per 20 seconds. This tariff is applicable for six months from the date of activation.
