TATA Docomo's STV 198 for CDMA customers is getting more popular nowadays considering the tariff hike by all major operators. As per the company spoke person, this product was available in the portfolio for quiet some time but it has suddenly become popularized as the realization cost per call is as low as 29 paise per minute and no other operators are providing the mix of local and STD calling benefit with single STV recharge.
Compared to other operators this is the cheapest rate available for STD calling.
As per the product construct STV 198 offers 600 minutes of Local/STD calling for a validity of 28 days from the date of recharge. There is no restriction for STD calling, if wants customer can use the entire 600 minutes for STD calling.
