Vodafone India introduces Balance Transfer from Postpaid to Prepaid customers

Vodafone India today announced the launch of it's first time in Industry service, Postpaid to prepaid balance transfer which will allow subscribers of postpay customers to transfer balance to any prepaid customers within the circle. Balance transfer is limited to a minimum of 50 rupees up to a maximum of 100 rupees. 3 rupees per transaction is applicable to donors per transaction.

A donor can transfer only once in a day, however receivers can receive up to 3 times from different donors. Total transfer amount is limited to a maximum of 1000 rupees per month and corporate customers are not allowed to do any transfer.

This service is initially available only in Mumbai, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andra pradesh circles and later this will get implemented to all circles.

Postpaid subscribers can do the transfer by dialing *130# and follow the interactive menu or directly dialing *130#*Amount*Recipient Number#.
