MTS India has finally heard the plea of its customers at least in Kolkata, West Bengal and Gujarat asking for reduction in Data Tariffs which took off ever since the GSM 3G Operators started reducing their Data Tariffs starting early last month. MTS has now one of the best tariffs in the High Speed Data Market even lower than the 3G GSM Operators.
Starting early last month, the operators offering 3G Data services on GSM radios have slashed their Data Tariffs up to 70%. An Average 1GB Data on 3G GSM now cost Rs. 250 and 2GB would cost you Rs. 450 apart from varied offerings from all the operators.
What MTS has introduced today is even more cheaper than the 3G Operators on GSM. Now MTS customers in Kolkata, West Bengal & Gujarat would get 1GB High Speed Data for just Rs. 248 and 2GB Data would cost you Rs. 375 (Kolkata & WB)only which is about Rs. 75 less than other operators. In Gujarat instead of 2GB, MTS is offering 1.5GB that too at a reduced price of Rs. 348. In order to overcome the intense competition in the Data Segment, MTS has also introduced some really good packs such as Rs. 490 pack that would be offering 3GB of High Speed Data.
MBlaze customers in 28 towns across Kolkata, West Bengal and Sikkim and in 22 towns in the state of Gujarat can avail the benefits of this initiative.
